Executive Management

Operculum brings together seasoned industry executives with cumulative experience of over 75 years in the medical device industry. The management team has successfully developed Class I, II, and III products and taken them through the FDA approval process; raised capital for start-up operations and sustained successful manufacturing operations. This experience will be critical in creating the infrastructure of an organization able to accomplish the aggressive objectives as discussed in this plan.

James W. Zeluff M.D.
Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder

Dr. Zeluff serves as Chief Medical Officer and clinical advisor of the company and assists in the company’s product development and design. He currently is in the private practice of gynecology. Dr. Zeluff was Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1981 and was certified by the Accreditation Council for Gynecologic Endoscopy in 1996.

Terry L. Ray
President and Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder

Mr. Ray serves as President of the Company. He is the founder of and currently operates Ray-Med Associates, Inc. This company is devoted to the development, manufacture and distribution of specialized medical products. Mr. Ray founded Ray-Med Associates in 1987 and has continuously operated this company. Ray-Med developed manufactured innovative new products and distributed products selling in the millions. Prior to founding Ray-Med Associates, he was an independent orthopedic implant device sales representative from 1987 to 1989. Prior to 1977, he was a accredited physician's assistant specializing in surgery. Mr. Ray has served as a medical consultant for companies such as Bremer Medical, AcroMed and Medical Products International. He holds a B.A. in Gerontology, Sociology, Psychology and Biology from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Mr. John Porter
Executive Consultant

Mr. Porter has been involved in the Healthcare Industry since 1981. Currently as President of Cansul Inc. a consulting company serving the medical device industry. Prior to the formation of Cansul Inc., John was Senior Director of Business Development at Isotechnika Pharma from 2005 to 2010 and was responsible for licensing, collaborations and development of Isotechnika’s product pipeline. Prior to Isotechnika Pharma, John was Director of Diagnostics for Isodiagnostika Inc. from 2000 until 2005 where he was responsible for securing global distribution of products through partnerships and alliances in Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. He was also responsible for securing domestic reimbursement and new product development at Isodiagnostika. Previous medical device experience includes Tyco Healthcare and Graphic Controls Medical Corp in various sales and marketing capacities from 1981 until 2000.

Leonel Dominguez
VP of Engineering and Development

Mr. Dominguez has 24 years of experience in product design, manufacturing and operations, 20 of those years within the medical device industry. He has developed and patented numerous implantable devices and instrument systems for such companies as Smith & Nephew, Medtronic, Scient’x USA and start-up companies participating in high growth markets requiring innovation, speed to market, and quality manufacturing. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami.
